The negociant Dupere Barrera
The negociant "Dupere Barrera" was born in 2000 from the passion for grat wines of Emanuelle D and Laurent B and their love of wine particularly from the Southwest of France(Provence, Rhone, and Languedoc) Wine amateurs decided to follow their passions by enrolling to earn a BTS of Viticulture and Oenology in Hyeres in the Var.
Laurent Barrera,
38, was a geological engineer in Reunion Island then the Office of studies for the routes of the Rochelle. In 1998 he decided to change his career to follow his passion for the vines and wine. Obtained his BTS Viticulture Oenology in Hyeres in Provence.
Emanuelle Dupere,
32, Professional Singer, also obtained her BTS Viticulture Oenology ib Hyeres after a BTS in Wine Commercial Technical obtained in Bordeaux.
They work in La Garde(15 minutes from Toulon) in the Var, aging their wines in barrels obtained from Romanee Conti, Yquem, and Tertre Roteboeuf. These barrels have already been used by excellent wine makers and bring along a supplement of complexity and structure.
Finally to preserve the natural quality of Dupere Barrera wines the bottling is done manually by gravity and without filtration. The most part of the interventions permit the guidance of the elaboration of an authentic wine (harvest, vinifications, soutirages, battonage and bottling) executed according to ancient winemaking traditions(notably the influences of the Moon and Atmospheric condition).
